Use the in-app tutorial

Follow the short tour for your current role, or start it again from Restart tutorial.

1. Sign in and open your workspace. The tour opens on its own the first time you use that role.
2. Select Next to move forward.
3. On the last step, select Done.

ItemLoom remembers completion separately for the admin tour and the item writer tour. Restart tutorial sits at the bottom left after the tour closes. It clears completion for the role you are in and opens the tour again.

If you want to leave the tour

Select Skip. Select Back to return to the previous step.

What the item writer tour covers

The writer tour points at Assignments, then at opening an exam to edit the item, then at Submit.

What the admin tour covers

The admin tour points at Review queue, creating an exam, assigning a writer and a due date, and live review. A step stays hidden when your account lacks the permission that step requires.
